Planning Your Soft Play Bus Chigwell Party
Chigwell and IG7: tell us the precise address and proposed bus position. Roads, entrances and available parking differ, so a postcode and access photographs are the starting point.
Chigwell Row: keep the food, cake and toilet arrangements close to the parked play space. For a hired hall, agree who controls the outside area and when the bus can arrive.
Woodford Bridge boundary: our published customer feedback uses the combined wording Woodford/Chigwell. It does not establish a specific Chigwell street or venue. Explore our separate Woodford guide if that better fits your location.

Venue Ideas for Your Chigwell Party
Victory Hall
Chigwell Parish Council venue
The parish booking page lists parties and parking. It currently states the kitchen area is closed, so discuss food plans and bus permission before booking.

Find Somewhere That Works for Your Party
A Chigwell party plan that works beyond the play session
Decide where children will gather before and after their bus session. At a suitable home in Chigwell or Chigwell Row, food, cake and familiar toilet facilities can stay in the house while the double-decker provides the play adventure outside.
Victory Hall is a practical local enquiry if you need a room. The parish booking page lists parties and parking, but its kitchen area is currently marked closed. Ask what food arrangements are allowed, how much setup time is included and whether the outside space can accommodate the bus. A listed car park does not guarantee permission for this use.
The Johnnie and Minnie Simmons Function Hall is another option to discuss. Its official page includes children’s parties and requires approved kosher catering. Check those arrangements directly with the hall, alongside the proposed bus position, event timing and any security requirements.
For a home party, send photographs of the approach and parked position showing gates, low branches and turning space. The bus remains stationary during the session; arrange a safe route for children between the house or hall and the entrance.
Use the actual destination in our Soft Play Bus Chigwell checker. Chigwell, Chigwell Row and Woodford Bridge are not interchangeable addresses for travel pricing. Send your preferred date, session length, ages and group size so we can check the route and availability. If your child would benefit from SEND adjustments, discuss music, lighting and settling time in advance.
Soft Play Bus Chigwell: Parking, Power & Party Essentials
Our double-decker is approximately 10m long × 2.4m wide × 4.42m high. Allow extra room for mirrors, turning and getting on and off.
Send photos of any narrow entrances, gates or low branches before booking. We need safe, legal parking, suitable ground and access to a standard plug socket. A generator can be arranged in advance for £55 if mains power is unavailable.
Plan a separate space for food, birthday cake, drinks and toilet breaks at your home or venue. The bus is dedicated to soft play.

Chigwell & Hainault United Synagogue
The official hall-hire page includes children’s parties and specific approved-catering requirements. Ask about dates, hire terms, security and permission for a bus outside.

Soft Play Bus Chigwell: Your Party Questions
From parking a double-decker to socks, snacks and supervision, here are the details families ask about before booking.
Soft Play Bus Chigwell: do you come to my area?
We take bookings at suitable homes and venues in Chigwell and the surrounding areas described above, subject to safe access, parking and availability. Send your full postcode, date, group details and parking photos so we can check the location and complete quote.
What ages is the Soft Play Bus suitable for?
The bus is best suited to children aged 2–10. Children under four need a parent or responsible adult onboard with them. Tell us the ages in your group when you enquire.
How many children can play together?
Up to 30 children can use the bus at once, with exclusive hire for your party. For a larger school, club or community event, ask us about planned group rotations within your booked time.
Soft Play Bus Chigwell prices: how much does hire cost?
A 90-minute party starts from £250 Monday–Thursday, excluding bank holidays, or £290 Friday–Sunday and bank holidays. Longer sessions are available. Use our postcode checker for your price including travel; additional charges may apply for ULEZ, tolls, generator hire or extras.
Do we need to hire a hall for Soft Play Bus Chigwell?
You do not need a separate hall if you have suitable parking and access at home. If you need another location, our venue finder can help you explore options. You will need to confirm the venue’s permission and arrangements.
Who supervises the children?
Parents, guardians or organisers remain responsible for supervising the children throughout. Our DBS-checked member of staff looks after the bus and assists with the visit. Children under four need an adult onboard with them.
Can you offer a quieter session for children with SEND?
Contact us before booking so we can discuss lighting, music, group size and individual support needs. We will talk through what is suitable for your group; parents, carers or your setting’s staff provide the children’s supervision and support.
What do children need to wear?
Children must remove their shoes and wear socks. Please keep their legs covered to help reduce friction on the slides, and choose clothing suitable for the weather.
Do you need electricity at our venue?
Yes, we need access to a standard plug socket. If that is unavailable, a generator can be arranged in advance for £55. Tell us before booking so the power arrangements can be confirmed.
Can the children eat on the bus, and is there a toilet?
Food and drink are not allowed on the bus, and there are no toilet facilities onboard. Arrange a separate space for food, drinks, birthday cake and access to toilets at your home or venue.
What happens if it rains?
The play areas are inside the bus, so ordinary rain does not stop the fun. Extreme weather can affect travel and conditions; if that is forecast, we will discuss the practical arrangements with you.
Does the bus drive the children around?
No. The Soft Play Bus stays parked during the party and does not transport the children.
How do we secure our Chigwell party date?
Send your preferred date, postcode, time, session length, ages and guest numbers. Once availability and the details are agreed, complete the booking and pay the £75 deposit. The balance is due seven days before the party.
