What does it cost to book a Soft Play Bus party?

Our party package lets you play for two hours for just £300, however, additional fee of £1.50 per mile (each way) will be added to any bookings 20 Miles from SS11 .

We take a £75 Non-refundable deposit

What happens at a typical Soft Play Bus party?

The Bus arrives at your party or event at least 30 minutes before it is due to start. We set things up, open the doors and the fun begins! After lots of playing, and fun the children leave the bus and we head home.

Your Soft Play Bus booking costs includes the bus travelling to your venue, its exclusive hire for your party and a DBS checked,

Alongside the driver we request that there are additional adults on hand who are responsible for the supervision, safety and wellbeing of children during the party. Please see our terms and conditions of hire for more information.

Where can the bus park?

The bus is 10 meters/33 foot long and 2.4 meters/8 foot wide with a height of 4.42 meters/14 foot 6 inches tall .

We can park outside your house or venue; it doesn’t even matter if you live on a hill! We do ask that you give consideration to any obstructive trees with low branches or width restrictions on roads where the Bus will be parked for your event. Please advise us when booking if you think there may be issues with parking, access or other restrictions that could prevent the Soft Play Bus from attending your event.

 

What about the weather?

Rainy days are not a problem for the Soft Play Bus. There may be times when extreme weather condition like heavy snow, freezing condition or flooding that can make it unsafe for us to attend your hire/party or event , if we make the decision to withdraw from your hire/party or event due to these reason, we will offer you another date and time or a credit note.

Can we eat on the bus?

We can supply sweet cones, (£2 per child) but food and drink is not permitted on the bus. We don’t have any inside seating area for the children to eat – all the space is dedicated to playing, and having fun.

Please also note that there are no toilet facilities on the bus.

Are you insured?

Of course. We have public liability insurance.

Can I book the Soft Play Bus for a full day event?

Yes, please! Contact us to discuss your requirements. We are available to book during the day or in the evening on weekdays, weekends and Bank Holidays. Just contact us for more information and to confirm availability.

Do you drive the children around?

No, we don’t drive the children around. Where the bus has been converted into a soft play bus its no longer a passenger carrying vehicle.

Do you cater for special needs?

Yes, we do!  All sound and lighting can be adjusted to suit the Childrens needs. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

How many staff members do you supply?

You will have one staff member who is DBS checked and is there to assist the children on and off the bus.  Please remember they are not their to ‘entertain’ as a clown would but to ensure the children are having fun.

Is an adult required to stay?

We ask that the parents of the children are kept close by.  The customer is held responsible for the care of all children onboard the bus

If a child is unwell?

In the event that a child is unwell or has a toilet accident on the bus, the customer would be liable for a £50 deep cleaning fee . The customer would be required to clean up the initial mess and it would be the hosts discretion if he feels it’s safe enough for the party to continue.
