Soft Play Bus Party Venues

Need somewhere for the double-decker? Start with places we’ve already visited with the Soft Play Bus, from community halls to pubs and leisure venues.

Find a venue near you

If there’s suitable parking and access at home, there’s no need to hire a venue. Need another spot? Start here.

Enter your postcode and choose 5 or 10 miles. Nearest venues appear first.

Parking permission: You must arrange permission from the venue or landowner for the bus to park and operate, and obtain any parking permits or other approvals needed before the party. Our previous visit does not provide permission for a new booking.

A few useful answers

What does the venue need for the bus?

The double-decker needs a clear parking area and safe access, with extra room to manoeuvre and for children to get on and off. The bus is approximately 10m long, 2.4m wide and 4.42m high; these are vehicle dimensions, so allow additional clearance. Check for height barriers, low branches, narrow gates and width restrictions. We also need access to a standard mains plug socket, or a generator arranged with us in advance. Send photos if you’re unsure about the access.

Do I need permission or a parking permit?

You must arrange permission from the venue or landowner for the bus to park and operate, and obtain any parking permits or other approvals needed before the party. Our previous visit does not provide permission for a new booking.

Can we combine the bus party with food at a pub or restaurant?

Pubs and restaurants can be a convenient option for food and drinks alongside the party. Ask the venue directly about suitable menus, seating, group deals and timings. Food, drinks and any venue hire are arranged separately from your bus booking.

Where do these venue ideas come from?

Every listing here comes from a previous Soft Play Bus visit. We use real fleet visits to give you a practical starting point for finding somewhere local.

Is the venue included in my bus booking?

You arrange the venue directly. Its hire fees, catering and availability are separate from the bus party. A listing doesn’t reserve a parking space or a party date.

Why is my suburb listed under a bigger town?

It makes the directory easier to browse. For example, look under Chelmsford for its surrounding localities. Search by the main town, suburb, village or venue name to find a match.

Is the distance shown the driving distance?

The finder shows approximate straight-line miles between postcode centres, not driving distance or travel time. Roads, river crossings and access routes can make the drive longer. Use Directions on a venue card to see the actual road route and estimated journey time.
