Three levels packed with things to climb, crawl through, swing from and slide down. Here is what is waiting inside your Barking and Dagenham party bus.

Two slides link the upper play area with the lower deck. There is plenty to explore on the way back, so the fun keeps moving.

Bright balls and glowing colours make our ball pits a favourite place to play, explore and share the excitement with friends.

Climb the wall, try the hanging rings and discover a new challenge on every lap of the play route.

Crawl through tunnels, cross the netted play areas and discover the next part of the adventure across three play levels.

Biff bashers, dizzy discs, a wrecking ball and ball blasters add variety to the play route for busy birthday children.

Bright neon artwork, UV lighting and onboard music make the bus party-ready. We can discuss gentler lighting and quieter music for children who prefer it.
Exclusive hire means your child celebrates with their invited friends. Up to 30 children can share the slides, ball pits and climbing fun.

Barking: use our Barking town page for a party centred on Barking. Our venue history includes Scrattons Social Club & Community Hall.
Dagenham: the Dagenham town page focuses on that part of the borough. Recorded Soft Play visits include Dagenham Rugby Club and London Riverside Church.
This hub helps you compare the borough’s areas and venue ideas. For wider coverage, explore our London hub.
Our Essex Soft Play Bus has attended Scrattons Social Club & Community Hall in Barking, and Dagenham Rugby Club, London Riverside Church, Mill House Social Club and Valence Park in Dagenham. These locations appear in our published Soft Play venue history.
A past visit is a useful starting point when exploring a venue. Contact the venue about the current date and parking arrangement, then ask us to check the exact setup for your own party.

Planning across Barking and Dagenham
Choose the town closest to your guests first, then compare the actual party addresses. A Barking home, a Dagenham clubhouse and a park event can have very different parking and permission arrangements. The borough name alone is not enough to confirm a route or price.
Scrattons Social Club & Community Hall is the Barking example in our venue history. Dagenham Rugby Club and London Riverside Church are two Dagenham options with official contact links here. Mill House Social Club and Valence Park also appear in the published records, giving organisers other places to explore through the venue finder.
For a Soft Play Bus Barking and Dagenham celebration at a park, contact the landowner or organiser about event permission and the proposed vehicle position. The council’s Valence Park information describes mainly permit parking; ordinary visitor parking is not permission for the bus.
A suitable home may already provide the food, birthday cake and toilet space you need. At a hall, agree those indoor arrangements separately and send us photos of the entrance and turning space. The double-decker stays parked throughout the play session.
Use the postcode checker for travel pricing, then send your preferred date, start time, session length, guest ages and numbers. We can check the practical details with you before you book. The town links below help keep the rest of your planning focused on Barking or Dagenham, while the London hub covers the wider area.
Our double-decker is approximately 10m long × 2.4m wide × 4.42m high. Allow extra room for mirrors, turning and getting on and off.
Send photos of any narrow entrances, gates or low branches before booking. We need safe, legal parking, suitable ground and access to a standard plug socket. A generator can be arranged in advance for £55 if mains power is unavailable.
Plan a separate space for food, birthday cake, drinks and toilet breaks at your home or venue. The bus is dedicated to soft play.
Parsloes Avenue, Dagenham · RM9 5PT
This is another recorded Soft Play Bus location. Contact the church about possible event arrangements and permission for the bus; a previous visit does not establish availability for a private party.

From parking a double-decker to socks, snacks and supervision, here are the details families ask about before booking.
We take bookings at suitable homes and venues across Barking and Dagenham, subject to availability, safe access and parking. Send the exact postcode, date and proposed bus position so we can check your own location. Use the Barking and Dagenham town links for more focused local planning.
The bus is best suited to children aged 2–10. Children under four need a parent or responsible adult onboard with them. Tell us the ages in your group when you enquire.
Up to 30 children can use the bus at once, with exclusive hire for your party. For a larger school, club or community event, ask us about planned group rotations within your booked time.
A 90-minute party starts from £250 Monday–Thursday, excluding bank holidays, or £290 Friday–Sunday and bank holidays. Longer sessions are available. Use our postcode checker for your price including travel; additional charges may apply for ULEZ, tolls, generator hire or extras.
You do not need a separate hall if you have suitable parking and access at home. If you need another location, our venue finder can help you explore options. You will need to confirm the venue’s permission and arrangements.
Parents, guardians or organisers remain responsible for supervising the children throughout. Our DBS-checked member of staff looks after the bus and assists with the visit. Children under four need an adult onboard with them.
Contact us before booking so we can discuss lighting, music, group size and individual support needs. We will talk through what is suitable for your group; parents, carers or your setting’s staff provide the children’s supervision and support.
Children must remove their shoes and wear socks. Please keep their legs covered to help reduce friction on the slides, and choose clothing suitable for the weather.
Yes, we need access to a standard plug socket. If that is unavailable, a generator can be arranged in advance for £55. Tell us before booking so the power arrangements can be confirmed.
Food and drink are not allowed on the bus, and there are no toilet facilities onboard. Arrange a separate space for food, drinks, birthday cake and access to toilets at your home or venue.
The play areas are inside the bus, so ordinary rain does not stop the fun. Extreme weather can affect travel and conditions; if that is forecast, we will discuss the practical arrangements with you.
No. The Soft Play Bus stays parked during the party and does not transport the children.
Send your preferred date, postcode, time, session length, ages and guest numbers. Once availability and the details are agreed, complete the booking and pay the £75 deposit. The balance is due seven days before the party.
